Open Europe Berlin gGmbH is a new independent think tank with a cross party advisory board of prominent figures from the German and European academic, business and policymaking communities. With offices located at the heart of Berlin’s political quarter, Open Europe Berlin’s cutting-edge research and events injects fresh thinking into the German debate about the future direction of the EU.

Open Europe Berlin cooperates closely with its London and Brussels-based partner organisation, Open Europe, creating a network of multilingual and interdisciplinary experts, exploring ideas for a Europe which regulates less but better, and is globally competitive but accountable. This partnership builds on these common principles in order to explore a model of European cooperation that respects the outcomes of national democratic debate in Germany, Britain and across the EU as a whole.
